TATTOO REMOVAL

LASER TATTOO REMOVAL
GET RID OF AN UNWANTED TATTOO!

The application of tattoos originated in ancient times, but the methods of removal appeared more recently. Tattoos used to be for life, but now it is possible to remove them.
We offer a unique opportunity to restore the natural appearance of the skin without pain and scars by removing not only tattoos, but also permanent make-up on the most delicate parts of the face - eyelids and lips.
In the salon, we use a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser, which is recognized as the "gold standard" in removing unwanted tattoos. Research shows that the safest method is a system that generates a strong pulse in a short time.

This is exactly what the Q-switched Nd:YAG laser does. During the procedure, the pigment collapses, and the skin simply does not have time to warm up. There are no scars left after the session and the procedure itself is easily tolerated without anesthesia.
Other methods of tattoo removal?
All of the mentioned are united by the main disadvantage – the effect is not precise, point-like, and they are not suitable for delicate areas (around the lip and eyes). These methods leaves footprints that will require additional time and resources to erase. To avoid adverse consequences, we recommend laser removal of tattoos and permanent makeup.
Advantages of the Q-swithed Nd:YAG laser:

• Accuracy of action
The laser acts only on pigments that break down into many microparticles and are removed from the body through the immune system. The procedure does not damage the skin.
• Without traces
The pulse laser removes a tattoo of any complexity. After each session, the tattoo remains lighter until the color pigments are gone and the tattoo is no longer visible.
• Delicate effect.
The laser is suitable for the areas of the eyebrows, lips and eyelids, where the skin is the most sensitive.
• Color does not matter
With this technology, it is possible to remove a tattoo of any color, but it should be taken into account that light colors fade faster than others.

TATTOO REMOVAL PROCESS

Why does the tattoo remain under the skin?

When you have a tattoo, the ink molecules are too large for the body to absorb and destroy. Instead, during the healing process of the skin, a network of collagen cells is formed that holds the tattoo ink in the skin.

How does the YAG class laser work in the tattoo removal process?

The laser emits a pulse of light with a frequency that is matched to the ink color spectrum. The emission of light is too fast for its contact with the skin to cause overheating. Instead, the "shock wave" effect of contact with the ink molecules causes them to break down into small enough sizes that the body can naturally eliminate them with the help of the immune system.

Is it possible to handle all colors of tattoo ink?

No. The wavelength of light is measured in nanometers (nm) and there are two wavelengths of light emitted from this laser – one is invisible infrared light (1064nm) and the other is visible green light (532nm). Infrared light effectively breaks down black and dark blue ink molecules, while green light breaks down red ink molecules. It is possible to process dark ink tones. It is very difficult to completely remove the molecules of white, yellow and other light colored inks. In the event that a cover-up will be performed upon completion of the removal, laser tattoo removal greatly expands the possibilities of covering up the unwanted tattoo.

Why are other colors harder to erase than red and black?

Only ink of that color, which is attached to a certain wavelength, will perceive the light. It is impossible to produce a laser that will be able to capture all colors, as some wavelengths are too shallow to affect color, some may affect too much and damage the skin in the process. Another reason is that all paints contain heavy metals in certain amounts. Some color pigments have a higher concentration of heavy metals than others, and these heavy metals can react with the laser light and carbonize (burn) the skin, turning the colored ink black. If this has happened, it is very difficult to remove such ink, but if you have other colors that you would like to remove, the laser operator will perform a test to make sure that these colors are suitable for the laser procedure before starting the actual treatment.

How much does tattoo removal cost?

Consultation and test cost 20 euros. The price of one procedure starts from 75 euros (approximately the size of a matchbox). When you come in for your consultation, we'll measure your tattoo, determine your skin type, and tell you how much each treatment will cost.

How many sessions will it take to remove my tattoo?

Unfortunately, taking into account the course of the procedure, it is impossible to accurately determine the number of necessary sessions. The number of procedures can be from 3 procedures when processing low-quality tattoos to up to 10 sessions when performing professionally performed tattoos. The number of procedures is influenced by the tone of the ink, the quality of the tattoo and the response of the body's immune system to the procedure by removing the broken down molecules of the ink.

How often can procedures be performed?

After the procedure, the body needs time to eliminate the broken down ink molecules, which is a slow process. Procedures are not recommended to be performed more often than once every 4-6 weeks. Take the test, then you have to wait 2-3 weeks and you can come to the full session.

How will my skin look after each treatment?

The skin will be red, similar to a mild sunburn. The redness usually goes away within a couple of hours. Minor bruising is possible. Sometimes certain types of paint can cause small sores that usually heal within a week. After each session, you will receive a detailed description of how to care for the treated skin after the procedures.

Will tattoo removal hurt?

Previous patients have compared laser skin contact to hitting the skin with a rubber band. To make the procedure as pleasant as possible, we offer to apply an anesthetic cream before each procedure. This makes the procedure much less painful.

Does tattoo removal leave scars?

The type of laser used for the procedure does not leave scars. In very rare cases where the client has a medical history of scarring (eg keloids), scar tissue may form.
